Visible on the blade are the "Strider" stamp and the Paul Bos heat treatment stamp, which is no longer done. ![]() The S30V steel blade is 4.5 inches long, has a factory bead blast finish and a factory double-edged grind or sharpened swedge. With the sharpened swedge the grip options include pakal (sometimes spelled pikal), which is a reverse grip with the edge in. The handle, with black G-10 slabs, is the same excellent shape as the SMF and is comfortable in both forward and reverse grips.
